Rain-X Wiper Blades Size Chart 2026: Complete Guide
Every size Rain-X lists for its wiper blade lines, with professional part numbers and rear blade codes.
Rain-X sells most of its wiper blades in lengths from 16 to 28 inches, and its Weatherbeater line goes down to 12 inches. According to Rain-X's own size FAQ, Latitude and Repel blades come in 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26 and 28 inches; Weatherbeater adds 12, 13, 14 and 15 inches; and Fusion is listed in 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24 and 26 inches. No Rain-X line in that list offers 23, 25 or 27 inches.
This chart compiles the sizes Rain-X publishes for each blade line, the part numbers in Rain-X's 2025 professional catalog, and the rear-blade codes Rain-X uses. It does not tell you which size your car needs; for that, Rain-X points drivers to its blade finder and the owner's manual. Where Rain-X's own documents disagree, we show both.

The gaps in the list matter when you shop. If your car takes a 23-inch or 25-inch blade, none of the Rain-X lines in the FAQ lists that length, so either the blade finder will point you to another Rain-X product or you will need a different brand. Michelin's listings have the same gaps, as our Michelin wiper blades size chart shows. Fusion is the narrowest of the four: Rain-X does not list it in 17 or 28 inches.
Rain-X professional catalog sizes and part numbers
Rain-X's 2025 professional catalog, aimed at shops and fleets, lists three front-blade lines with a part number for every size. The professional lines cover more sizes than the consumer FAQ:

Every Longitude Professional Series part number follows the size (830314 is the 14-inch blade, 830328 the 28-inch), and the Weatherbeater Professional numbers do the same (RX30112 to RX30128). The Latitude Water Repellency numbers do not: the 17-inch blade is RX5079283, out of sequence with its neighbors. That is why we list the numbers Rain-X prints rather than reconstructing any from a pattern. The catalog also lists two Longitude adapters, 830329E (E Adapter) and 830329F (F Adapter).
Consumer vs professional sizes compared
Putting the two Rain-X documents side by side shows where the lines overlap. Weatherbeater is the same in both: 12 to 22 inches, plus 24, 26 and 28 inches, in the consumer FAQ and in the professional catalog (as Weatherbeater Professional). Latitude is where the two differ. The consumer Latitude starts at 16 inches; the professional Latitude Water Repellency 2-n-1 starts at 14 inches. Longitude Professional Series also starts at 14 inches and stops at 28, with no 12- or 13-inch blade.
Across both documents, the set of lengths Rain-X uses is the same: every whole inch from 12 to 22, then 24, 26 and 28. If you measured an odd length such as 23 or 25 inches on your old blade, measure again from end to end of the rubber. If the measurement holds, use the blade finder rather than rounding to the nearest Rain-X length, since rounding up can make the blade too long for the glass.
The professional catalog's case quantities differ by line: Longitude and Latitude Water Repellency blades are packed 5 per case, Weatherbeater Professional 10 per case, and the Longitude adapters 70 per case. That matters only if you buy for a shop or fleet, but it is one more way to confirm you are reading the right catalog row.
Where Rain-X's documents disagree
- Latitude sizes. Rain-X's consumer FAQ lists Latitude from 16 to 28 inches. Its 2025 professional catalog lists the Latitude Water Repellency 2-n-1 blade in 14 and 15 inches as well. These are different products (Latitude vs Latitude Water Repellency) in different channels, so both can be correct, but a 14- or 15-inch Latitude may only be available through professional distributors.
- Which lines are listed. The FAQ covers four lines (Latitude, Weatherbeater, Repel and Fusion). Rain-X's wiper blade page lists many more, including Silicone, Rugged, Quantum Elite, WeatherArmor, Vision, Expert Fit, WeatherClear, PrecisionClear, Ready Match and RearView, and does not list Fusion. Rain-X does not publish a size list for those lines in the FAQ, so check the blade finder for them.
- Repel naming. The FAQ lists "Repel"; the current product page lists "Repellency" wiper blades. We cannot tell from Rain-X's pages whether these are the same product.
Rain-X rear wiper blade codes
Rear blades are not sold by length alone, because rear wiper arms use many different connections. Rain-X's RearView line uses codes that combine a length with a letter or suffix for the fitment:
| RearView size code | Part number |
|---|---|
| 11-A | 850030 |
| 12-A | 850029 |
| 12-B | 850028 |
| 12-E | 850027 |
| 14-A | 850026 |
| 14-B | 850025 |
| 14-D | 850024 |
| 16-A | 850023 |
| 16-B | 850022 |
| 11-MC | 850021 |
| 13-MC | 850020 |
| 10-1 | 850019 |
| 12-1 | 850035 |

Rain-X describes RearView as designed to match each vehicle's rear wiper blade technology and connection system. The code is not interchangeable across letters: a 12-A and a 12-B are both 12-inch blades, but they are listed as different products. Look up the code for your vehicle rather than buying by length. Rain-X wiper blade families
Rain-X's wiper blade page groups its current consumer blades into five families. Knowing the family helps when you use the blade finder, because it may return several lines in the same length:
- Rugged: Truck & SUV and Rugged XL, both listed under the Rugged Series.
- Silicone: Silicone Advantedge, Silicone Endura and Silicone Supreme.
- Water Repellency: Quantum Elite, Latitude Water Repellency and Repellency.
- Essential: PrecisionClear, WeatherArmor, WeatherClear and Vision.
- Expert Fit: Expert Fit Beam, Hybrid, Conventional and Rear, all labeled OE Replacement.
The same page also lists Latitude, Weatherbeater, Ready Match Hybrid, Ready Match Conventional and RearView. Two lines in this article, Fusion (from the FAQ) and Longitude (from the professional catalog), do not appear on the current consumer page. They may be discontinued at retail or sold only through other channels; Rain-X does not say.
Rain-X's FAQ says good blades have durable synthetic rubber squeegees and a beam design, and that beam blades with a silicone or graphene squeegee are best for winter. The professional catalog describes Weatherbeater as a traditional blade with an all-steel frame, and Latitude Water Repellency as an advanced beam blade with a universal adapter. The construction does not change the size: a 22-inch beam blade and a 22-inch conventional blade are both 22-inch blades. What changes is how the blade presses on the glass and, sometimes, how it connects to the arm.
How to read a Rain-X size
A Rain-X front-blade size is the blade's length in whole inches, as printed on the package and in the tables above. Rain-X does not publish metric equivalents in these sources, so we have not added them. Two things the number does not tell you:
- Which side it fits. A 26-inch blade is usually a driver-side length and an 18-inch blade a passenger-side length on the same car, but that depends on the vehicle. Only the finder or your manual tells you which length goes where.
- Whether it fits your arm. The same length can need a different adapter on a different car. That is why Rain-X sells adapters separately for some professional lines.
Rain-X's published sources do not say whether a different length is acceptable. A longer blade can hit the windshield frame or the other blade, so do not go longer than the original without checking.
How to find your Rain-X size
Rain-X's answer to "What size wiper blades does my vehicle use?" is to use the blade finder on RainX.com, or to check the owner's manual. It adds that many retailers provide in-store fit guides. In practice:
- Use the blade finder. Enter the year, make and model on RainX.com. The finder is Rain-X's own lookup, so it reflects the lines Rain-X currently sells.
- Check the owner's manual. Many manuals list the wiper blade lengths in the specifications or maintenance section. Our guide to getting your owner's manual free shows where to find it for each manufacturer.
- Measure the old blade. If the car is not in the finder, measure each blade end to end. Our guide on how to find wiper blade size covers measuring and identifying the arm type.
- Size each side separately. The driver and passenger blades are often different lengths. Our guide to whether wiper blades are different sizes on each side explains why.
If two sources give you two different sizes, the most likely reasons are a mid-year change, a different body style or an aftermarket arm. For what each manual covers, see owner's manual vs service manual. Our article on why websites give your car different numbers explains how to resolve that.
Adapters and arm types
Size is only half of fitment; the blade must also connect to the arm. Rain-X's professional catalog says the Longitude line uses an interchangeable adapter system to keep up with OEM arm designs, and lists separate E and F adapters. The Latitude Water Repellency blade comes with a universal adapter. Rain-X's FAQ explains that this blade's adapter works with J-hook arms and has a locking mechanism that fits tightly: you insert the J-hook into the center of the adapter, feel some resistance, and push the hook firmly all the way to the back of the adapter until it locks.
If a blade will not seat, do not force the arm. Check that the adapter matches the arm type listed for your vehicle and follow the installation instructions on the package or on RainX.com, which Rain-X recommends as the first place to look.
When to replace Rain-X blades
Rain-X says its wiper blades typically last 6 to 12 months from installation, depending on factors including the weather, and recommends replacing any blade that has been on a vehicle for more than 12 months. Rain-X does not offer refills for its blades, so replacement means a new blade. Rain-X's FAQ also gives three diagnostic tips:
- Streaking. Dirty glass can cause streaks. If the blades streak on a clean windshield, it is time to change them.
- Skipping. Rain-X attributes skipping to worn rubber squeegees, uneven pressure or dirt on the windshield.
- Cleaning. Rain-X suggests cleaning blades with car wash solution when you wash the car, running a soapy sponge up and down each side of the squeegee.
Winter tips from Rain-X
To keep wipers from freezing, Rain-X suggests lifting the blades off the windshield before a winter storm, using winter-rated washer fluid, and clearing ice and snow from the glass before turning the wipers on. It notes that many modern vehicles have recessed wipers, so check the owner's manual for the service position before lifting them. For winter, Rain-X recommends beam blades with a specialized squeegee, such as silicone or graphene.
Common Rain-X sizing mistakes
- Buying one size for both sides. Most cars use different driver and passenger lengths.
- Assuming every line has every size. Fusion, for example, is not listed in 17 or 28 inches, and no line in Rain-X's FAQ lists 23, 25 or 27 inches.
- Buying a rear blade by length. RearView blades are coded by fitment as well as length.
- Ignoring the adapter. A blade of the right length still has to fit the arm.
- Trusting a blade-length rule of thumb. The longest Rain-X sizes (26 and 28 inches) are not right for every driver side; use the finder.
- Using a retailer's chart instead of Rain-X's finder. Retail listings can lag product changes; Rain-X's finder is the manufacturer's own lookup.
